NADIR
NADIR is originally from France and studied fashion and marketing at university in London before moving to China where he lost his money after a divorce.
He is currently looking for a job in London. He has done odd jobs, for example, working as a kitchen porter where he was paid £25 a day for 10 hours.
It is difficult finding a stable job having no address which means he cannot set up a bank account. He also doesn't want to claim job seeker's allowance as he believes this is for the English people.
Being foreign, he receives a hard time from others who are homeless. They claim he has come to this country to beg and actually has a home. They use his cleanliness as an excuse although he washes at Victoria for 30p each day and saves up to sleep on a night bus until 4.30am.
He has also had his sleeping bag stolen from him.
